Ka'anapali Part II
The first two days we hung out at the pool because Kaylee was having fun on the kids pirate ship but then we headed to the beach and that is where we stayed for the rest of the week. Kaylee had so much fun playing in the waves and taking her kick board that Ahma bought her and turning it into a boogie board. She actually caught a couple or more of good waves. She also was the mask queen and loved floating out over the reef looking for fish. Macie was all about being in the water with Jace. JC stayed in the water all day and Macie loved being in there with him and pretty much only liked being in there with him. She loved how the tide would go in and out and take her with it. What could be better than days on a beach in Maui watching your kids have a blast???? Seriously I really can't think of anything.

Ok...so I have no business putting my gangles up but I have to show just how tough of a day I had in Maui. Seriously it takes work to relax that hard!

Ka'anapali, Maui
It was a cloudy dark Friday, October 1, 2010 morning when we were picked up by the airport shuttle to take us to one of the most beautiful destinations.........Ka'anapali, Maui. We boarded American Airlines flight 253 with Ahma and Papa and headed for sun, sand, and the beautiful clear blue ocean. This was the first plane ride for Kaylee and Macie and they both were awesome! Macie was on our laps for the flight and while I expected her to make a fuss at least half the way there, she was a model baby. Kaylee was great as usual seeing that she was occupied by her new coloring book, iPod, and Toy Story 3 that was played on the flight. We landed in Maui at 11:45am Maui time and had the rest of the day to do as we wanted.
Lahaina is the town right next to Ka'anapali and it is such a quaint little paradise town. It almost has the feel of Catalina if you will ,with Front St. being where most of the shops and restaurants are. In the middle of this adorable town is a Banyan Tree. While I thought I took some amazing pictures of the tree I only took pictures of the girls in the tree. Oh well. It is an amazing huge tree that looks as though it is kept company by many other trees but in fact those other trees are the same tree being the root sysytem of the Banyan tree grown down forming other trees. Something you need to see. Following are part one of our trip to Maui....hope you enjoy the pictures....
