Kaylee Ballerina

Today, April 13, 2010 was the first day of ballet/tap class for Kaylee. She and Alex, my friend Janae's daughter, are taking the class together through parks and rec. We want to make sure they like it before we put them in a dance studio atmosphere. These classes are held at Recreation Park Center where they Bruin Den is. Their teacher, Mrs. Pat, has got to be in her 70's and I have to say the most flexable older woman I have ever seen! LOL! I came home and started doing stretches!! LOL!
Anyways here are a few pictures of the girls before class started. The parents have to go outside as to not distract the lil ones from the teacher.

Cousins....

This picture is just too much!! Paula picked up Kaylee on Wednesday and took her and Brayden (Ali's son) to the park to play. These two love to play with each other and have so much fun! I love the expression on Brayden's face here and the angelic look that Kaylee bugs has melts my heart. This has to be one of the sweetest pictures. Thank you Paula!!

Easter 2010

This was an Easter of firsts. First of all it was Macie's first Easter, it was our first Easter at our house, and our first time dying eggs. We ended up having a great Easter despite the earthquake later that afternoon.
We had a house full of family over for brunch on Easter morning. I made quiche's for the first time that came out really yummy, mom brought her delicious deviled eggs, and Paula brought over her beautiful ambrosia salad. We had a great brunch with mimosas and a fun egg hunt for the Buggy girl!!
