Free at last!

Well there are no pictures to go along with this post and while I still have many pictures from before Christmas, Christmas, and after I have a post to share without. I have just finished my last class at UoP and will finally soon hold my college degree in my hands!! I can't believe it! It has taken me 14 years of off and on going to school, more off then on, lets face it. I gave up on myself years ago and just figured I could end up with a job that will give me experience and I could just work my way up from there. Well after having Kaylee I knew that wasn't going to work. While my job was great and gave me enough to have a great apartment and a fun life, it definatly wasn't enough for a family. So going back to school was an option to not only give me more opportunities but to ensure my babies knew a college education is a must. If I am able to go back to school and finish my college degree with two babies then there is no excuse for them to not go to college.

In about 3 to 4 years I plan on going back to UoP and obataining my masters in early childhood education and my teaching credential but there is something else that is sounding a lot more interesting to me these days and that is opening up my own store on 2nd street. This is an idea that I am going to have to sit on for a while and know that it is what I REALLY want and something that will be successful. I believe it can be, I just need to find out more information and go from there.

I finally have free time at naps and after the girls go to bed that I do not know what to do with. Wait....yes I do! Enjoy it!! I can't wait to garden this spring, have fun play dates swimming or at the beach, and most of all have nothing lingering over me like a paper due or DQ's due that day. YAY for me!!

November 09

Well what can I say, November has never been a favorite month of mine......Santa Ana winds, freezing cold in the morning, hot in the afternoon, a day of nothing to do but sit around and wait for the turkey to be ready, and then sit around and complain about how full we all are. November is now different for me since my lil girls came along. There is something about every holiday no matter how big or small that makes it so magical watching it through the eyes of children, especially your own children.

This year Kaylee and I created pine cone turkeys, hand turkeys, macaroni necklaces, and hats for Thanksgivin dinner. It has been a wonderful month. This year Thanksgiving was at our house with Mom, Chad, Ang, Melissa, JC, Kaylee, Macie, and I. It was a challenge preparing Thanksgiving dinner with a baby that needs you constantly but I managed to pull it off. Kaylee made macaroni neckaces for everyone and we had the necessary tools for everyone to make their own hats; Pilgrim or Native American.

The day after Thanksgiving we loaded up the kids and dove up the mountain to Lake Arrowhead to join JC's parents, sister, her kiddos, Aunt and Uncle, and cousins in their annual Thanksgiving in Arrowhead. It was very cold when we got there but with no snow in site. We had a great time around the villiage and a nice feast with the whole family before we headed to the tree lighting and Santa. We got to see Santa getting ready and when Kaylee yelled, "Santa!" he leaned over the balcony to give her a nice big wave. Tore at my heart strings a bit to see her get a special wave from Santa himself. We didn't end up making it through the tree lighting seeing that it was just too long of a day for the lil ones.
We had a nice thunder and lightening show very early Saturday morning and when we woke up, we woke up to a beautiful snow filled winter wonderland. The kids went out and played in the snow making snow balls, angels, and JC made a mini snowman on the table. It was a great morning an we couldn't have asked for any better!

Halloween 09

Halloween 09 started off with mom making chili as I do every year and carving our pumpkins out front. JC made a jack-o-lantern with its tongue hanging out as requested by Kaylee. She was quite the helper with the pumpkins.

Almost time to trick-or-treat and our lil mermaid is ready to go. Kaylee was so eager to get going that she wul not sit still for a picture. I am VERY lucky to get this one.

The girls. Ashlee and Katie with my baby girls getting ready to trick-or-treat. We have a tradition of trick-or-treating around the neighborhood together and this was the first year that I didn't have all my girls with me on Halloween. I knew that it was going to change sooner or later but I was hoping for the later ;). It was the first of many Halloween's that Ash and TT had a party to go to. Time is going by too fast!

This is my favorite because Macie is giggling at Ashlee.

Kaylee and her BFF Jenna. Jenna lives next door and is 6 months younger than Kaylee. They love eachother and trick-or-treated together the whole night. It was so much fun watching the girls together. It was a glimpse of what is to come.

Trick-or-treat!!!
Kaylee loves these scary guys. This one reminder her of the one at Target for so long. Everytime we were at Target we had to go see the "scary man".

Macie tried her hardest but just couldn't make it.

How cute are these two!?

Party Time.....Halloween Style

We finally were able to host our halloween party this year. Last year I wanted to so badly but was too sick with morning sickness so I had to cancel. This year Halloween was kicked off with a party at the Bloeser house for Kaylee and her friends. I made chili as I do every Halloween along with mac-n-cheese for the kiddos. There were games of strawing for spiders, spider ring toss, and decorating your own halloween frame. We took individual pictures of the kids as they walked in and gave them their own picture to put on their frame.

I am lucky enough to have great neighbors and organized a little pre halloween trick-or-treating for the kids. Five of the houses on our street were great enough to hand out candy to our little party goers as they trick-or-treated up and down the street.

All the kids had such a great time trick-or-treating and we all ended up back at our house for more fun and games. Halloween is my favorite time and having Kaylee love it as much as I do is making for many fun Halloween's in our future! We can' t wait for our party next year!!

Monster Slide!

Kaylee going down the huge slide at Pa's Pumpkin Patch!

Let the Halloween fun begin!

For those who do not know, I am a Halloween Junkie!! The pumpkin patch opened here on Friday October2nd and we were there!! I have gotten Kaylee to love Halloween as much as I do so she was so excited to go and play. She got the sit on the pumpkins, ride the ponies, go on the carousel, ride the flying elephants, chase the lambs around the peting zoo (poor lambs), go on Pa's train, and go down the enormouse slide. SHe is so brave when it comes to fun rides especially slides that she was so determined to go down this huge inflatable slide that even I wouldn't dare go down but she did it and had a blast!!

Our girls today

Our girls are getting so big. Macie is now 4 months old and Kaylee is 2 1/2. Time is going by so fast and we are trying our hardet to take in every moment with our babies. Kaylee has turned into such a ham and keeps us laughing all the time. She is such a sweet, nice girl that my heart melts with any look of hurt on her little face. She has a best friend, Jenna who lives next door an is 6 months younger so they play everyday outfront together and Kaylee loves to stand on her bed and yell out her side bedroom window, "Jenna where are you?!" It is definatly a sign of days to come with those two.
Macie is getting so big and is the happiest little girl I have ever seen. She wakes up with a huge smile every morning and all you have to do is look at her and she is smiling or laughing. We are so entertained by her on a daily basis. Her personality is coming out so much and I can tell she is going to be really fun and she and Kaylee are going to have a blast together. Kaylee is very anxious for that day to come.
