Lahaina is the town right next to Ka'anapali and it is such a quaint little paradise town. It almost has the feel of Catalina if you will ,with Front St. being where most of the shops and restaurants are. In the middle of this adorable town is a Banyan Tree. While I thought I took some amazing pictures of the tree I only took pictures of the girls in the tree. Oh well. It is an amazing huge tree that looks as though it is kept company by many other trees but in fact those other trees are the same tree being the root sysytem of the Banyan tree grown down forming other trees. Something you need to see. Following are part one of our trip to Maui....hope you enjoy the pictures....
Kaylee ready to go!

The pirate ship at the kids pool. Kaylee had a great time playing on it sliding through all the "secret slides"
Kaylee and I under the waterfall in the pool. There were waterfalls, tunnels, and slides to play in.
