First Day of Preschool Part II
Kaylee went through her first day of school like a trooper. Not one tear! She was sitting at a desk watching a Bug's Life when I walked in the door and she yelled "MOMMY! MACIE! YAY!" She was very happy to see us and went for her bags right away!
Kaylee's first day of preschool!!!!
Today, Tuesday June 22, 2010 was Kaylee's first day of preschool. She is going to Bethany Baptist in Clark Ave here in Long Beach. Lucky enough my good friend Joanna's son, Madden goes there as well. Kaylee is starting out in their summer program going Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 - 1.
I think that this for me, was one of the most emotional days that I have ever had besides the two days that my babies were born. The thoughts of abandonment that run through your head are crazy. These babies heading off to school may be nervous and a bit timid of their new surrounds that do not include mommy or daddy but the level of thinking on their part stops there, I'm sure. Now for us parents, or for me anyways, I have had butterflies in my belly for days now, this morning I couldn't eat, and the overwhelming feeling to cry when I was driving home was out of my control. Does she think I am leaving her for good? Does she realize I will be back to get her? Good GOD it is rediculous the thoughts that were running through my mind. I am better as I write this but don't let me fool you I have been on the phone trying to get ahold of Ms. Jan to let me know how bugs is doing!

Kaylee's teacher, Ms. Gina! She is in the yellow room
She is so great. She wanted to go off and explore on her own.
She'll show em that she's not afraid. She just got right in there and started playing even before Maddy got there.
YAY! Maddy's here!
Time to line up and get the day started!
Ok....so I just called the school to check on Kaylee and Ms. Jan (wonderful secretary) just told me that Kaylee and Maddy have buddied up and that she is doing great!! :) Again.....thank goodness for Maddy!!!
Preschool Part II will be done later today after I pick her up....

Our lil FISH!
Kaylee is such a lil fish! She has grown so much with her swimming since last summer, heck since 3 months ago. She is able to swim around and not have to have one of us right on top of her. She loves swimming and it is so much fun for JC and I to watch her and her hard work pay off! LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!
Father's Day in Palm Springs!
This year we spent Father's Day in Palm Springs! Ahma and Papa were there for the week and invited us to stay the weekend with them. There were ducks and jackrabbits roaming around outside on the patio the whole time so Kaylee and Ahma thought it was a good idea to feed them carrots and lettuce. On Sunday morning they were even treated to scrambled eggs and canteloupe....
Our lil family in the pool!
Kaylee and Papa in line for the waterslide there at the Marriott! Kaylee was "dying" as she says to go on it
Macie lounging by the pool with Ahma
Me coaxing Mays to look at the camera....she was way too interested in what sister was doing in the pool
Happy Father's Day!!!!
Nothing like a sunset in Palm Springs. I was able to grab a glimpse of it with the camera as we got on the freeway.
JC said it was the best Father's Day that he has had. We all had a great time and the girls took a 3 hour nap today to prove just how much fun they had. Macie even had to go down without eating her lunch....that right there tells you how wiped out she was! :)
Great weekend!!

Summer time and the livin's easy....
Days of sunshine, butterflies, flowers, pool parties, beach days, bike rides, concerts in the park, movies in the park, BBQ's, tans, and family. YES! Summer is here! Ok....maybe not offically but we might as well say that it is since the weather has been awesome the past few days. Even though times are hard for everyone these days we are so lucky to have what we have....a great family and a house with a pool that we love to spend our time at. The Bloeser Family is truely blessed by all we have.

Stolen moments
There is something about stolen moments that make them special and special in different ways to different people. There is a famous quote that reads, Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ~Elizabeth Stone. There is nothing more true. I catch the girls doing something or saying something everyday that will forever stay in my mind and my heart but when I am able to grab any moment when they are just their sweet, innocent, and adorable selves on camera I can't help but share it.
This picture of Kaylee was taken when Jace and I had a date night on Saturday. She stayed up with her Auntie Dohey watching Peter Pan and fell asleep on the couch waiting for Mommy and Dad Dad to get home.
The picture of Macie is of her climbing up on her new big girl chair and having a little quite time with a book. The best captured moments are those that are not posed for and those that are beautiful in their simple ways.

BooBoo
Awww the poor lil bubby! Macie was throwing down some beats like Biz Saturday evening and bouncin while hanging onto the table with one hand. She got a little too into her beats and bounced herself right into the table. This is what happens when you get a little to cocky!
She took it like a champ though and cried for a minute then all was forgotten once the blood stopped flowing. Ohhhhh just one of many to come!

Macie with her Nonna and Ahma!
I do not know how this picture slipped by me when I was posting for Macie's 1st birthday. I LOVE this picture of Macie with her Nonna and Ahma getting their Macie fix at the same time. Of course they both had their high pitched sweet voice or as some call it, baby talk on in full force. Oh I laugh because that is just something that is unavoidable! What a lucky girl my Macie is and her big sister Kaylee for that matter, having so many people that love them, especially their Nonna and Ahma!!

Macie turns 1!!!!!
Where has the time gone?! It literally seems like a couple of months ago that I was in the hospital holding our Macie Monkey Moo for the first time. I am sure we just brought her home. No chance though, she has turned one! She is such a special girl. She is funny, sweet, calm, and quite a temper all at the same time. She definatly knows what she wants and when she wants it. An explorer for sure, our girl wants to try out everything her big sister is doing and or even Mommy and Daddy. If we are eating something she has to have a bite , if big sis, Kaylee is "reading" a book she has to get on top of it, and if sister is playing she wants in on the action. Just like Kaylee has been, Macie is going to be so fun to watch grow into her own girl.
